Currently i am making:

80blast/80kinetic/80elec/80energy 70 base comp suits

80kinetic/80elec/80energy 70 base comp suits

80kin/80elec 70 comp base

80kin 60base comp suits ( low ham )

77kin 21base ubese

80kin 51base padded ( just put segments in factory)

Just curious of what other AS's are making or stock. Trying to get a feel on what to make next and to stock. I know many servers are different but what are your best sellers, or "key stones" in armor making ( non enhanced btw). And how many types of armor do you stock for each kind of armor?

I was thinking of:

80electric 70 base suits - so they can slice to 90% on all main damages. And also lower HAM on this.

80kin/80elec/80ene/10stun 69 base suits - so they can pvp and pve and make for a good all around suit- though will be heavy.

For ubese and padded im not sure what else to try- i kind of hit max on these suits- perhaps go all into base and try new resists on top?

There are just so many combo's and dont want to make 100 different type suits- but a few ideas or tips might help me decide on a few types. Will work on stun armor also, after i get a few more types stocked.

Btw only been an AS about 3 weeks, so i havent gotten the feel for the business end of this yet on my server. Thats why i was asking for what types other AS's stock. And dont want to stock vendors with junk no one will buy.

I started making some cold layered suits. Knocks the kinetic into the base so it gets sliced as well. upside is it is very possible to get suits with kinetic resist up to 90%. Downside is if you get an encumbrance slice it is a 80 cold 80 electric 70base suit and tough to sell. just one more way to play with comp.

Im sure once the CU happens it will become much more of a balncing game between encumb and resistence...so it will be a bit more challenging and servers will have a greater diversity in what is sold.

I'm going to explore FS grind comp (Kin/Blast layered) and market it to grinders on dantooine.

I also made a run of "Lit-Stun" segments basically 4% stun 67% base 500ish HAM comp (dont know how well this would sell currently)

kin/ener/stun.... been there done that. With your resources I bet you could hit 80/80/80/13/70

You dont make any heavy pvp stun? (I make 23% slicing stun and 39% heavy stun)

Wookie armor.... now there's a challenge... Ive been playing around with it... made some very nice stuff (better than 70% of the hunting armor I saw vendor browsing)

Have you certified for RIS yet? This quest is designed to be a challenge... (super rare components, strange resources, multi-million credit schematics... *Sigh*)

Wookie armor i am having trouble getting the wood and few other resources. Eventualy i will make this. Havent had a good spawn of any type wood needed since i hit master.

Stun i will make, got some killer crism ore but wanted to get regular comp out of the way, stock up a few varieties first.

Got layers in for 4 new types of suits, after that probablt dabble in stun for a while.

RIS i have all the components ( gdk, wmbf, appf, gkh ) but again having hard time getting just 1k of the resources needed

i will try more ways, i guess there is only so much an AS can do. I got resources for comp, Ithorian, padded, and ubese. Might try chitin and marabi armor, make a good line for the new players.

Dont wait too long for good wood - you probably wont get it. Use what you got and just experiment a bit you'll be surprised.

hehe I was using 350 OQ yavin evergreen for awhile then a +950 oq spawned in and it made a world of difference.

Also bought some 985 oq dath evergreen for 8 cpu.... i dont plan to mass produce this stuff so I dont care if my profit margins dissapear as long as I can say I'm the best.

Ive been buying and miningRIS stuff as it comes along over the last 4 months... all I need now is a GDK scale to cert. not willing to pay 3 mill for it though.

Oh ya, and for electric layers try getting your hands on some of the newer siliclastic ore, its SR isnt gated! You could concievably get one with 900 oq ma and sr!!
