You problem is the same problem share by all wookies. Armorsmiths seem to just not like making wookie armor due to a few reason.
easier to harvest copper then wooly hide,
large customer base for making comp then wookie armor
i just wondering what does the ithorian armor take to make ?

Ith armor is identical to human type armor in the resource requirements.....

Have you tried posting this message on the Starsider Trade Forums?
We get a few "where can I find Wookie Armor" posts on my trade forum quite frequently, and are usually answered very quickly.

if ithorian armor is the same as comp why dont you guys ask the dev to change Wookie armor over to the same stuff instead of wood and hide and crap.? wouldnt that make life onyou armorsmith easier. i mean it doesnt matter if my armor is made from flowers/wood/hides or copper/iron/steel or even from freaking brandy/brokendatapads and tuskens robes. in fact i dont think one single person cares what their armor made of as long as it good and price right
