Currently im an armorsmith 3-1-0-2 and i've been trying to find out how to put layers into armor. First off, where are the layers placed, into the armor segment? And secondly can layers be placed into any kind of armor or just into composite? Thanks in advance for the help.

ubese can take 1 layer, padded can take 2. Not sure about other armors, but dosen't really matter, only comp and ubese sell. Advanced comp can take 3, regular comp can take 2. Yeah, they are added when crafting the segment.
Look at the schmatics, they will list how many layers a segment can take.
