I have a suit of RIS. I wish it was like composite so that you could try different color schemes. Its tough to own 10 different RIS suits , i just wish you could change the color scheme after its made like composite. I would love to see the other RIS combos.

I like that RIS has fixed colors. Makes every suit a little more individual. If you want to be a chameleon and have armor that matches your hawtpants color this week, wear comp.

because the colouring of Comp armor is only due to a bug, and if you shout too loud they may fix it.... No new armor will get the colour option....

the coloring option for composite has been introduced abouta yearago when there was a problem with composite coloring.

a lot of sets turned into brown i believe. so the devs came up with the solution to offer the players to choose the color of their armor by the radial menu.

this option was supposed to be removed a few weeks after it has been activated.

that didnt happen so far.

so if you pull this on somebody desk, the devs will probably remove the option again.

Iagree that it should be possible to change the color of armor.

but it should be doable by only armorsmiths.

leaving us the possbility to change the armor coloring when it comes off a factory.

I'd even be happy with a one-time-option.

maybe okram can add this to his todo list i think a lot of smiths would like to get this option for any armor.

I was making Compo before the bug and thus the fix.

I used to suppy certain guilds with their specific colours. Perma colour does add a little more depth to composite...People looking for that elusive shade of red to complete the suit. Sure it is more of a pain but how the heck does everyone change the colours anyway, how does this write into any prof or story line?

You would recognise people more as they had their certain colours or a specific mismatch. Changing was not so easy.

I think they added a quick fix and we lost something and by we I mean our trade and not our customers.

Just my thougths.

Listen, i'm just like the idea of picking your color after the suit is made. Its such a pain trying to figure out what you want from pics. My armor smith had to upload pictures to a website to help me choose. When you get one shot with an RIS suit to pick the color, trust me , you will sweat it. After awhlie with it , i really wanted to see how the other near RIS colors would look. Thats all this is about. I didnt mean to offend anyone, and i'm taking out the petition. Makes me sound like an ass.

I will give you all a hint that the NDA I am under keeps me from comenting about this (I didn't say yes, but if it was a no I wouldn't haveto worry about the ND to tell you that it was a no)

What i'd like to see on RIS is a larger color palette, or just some better colors. Granted, the colors that look good on RIS look really good, but there isn't much variety.

Larger colour template would be the best.

At the moment it's hard make RIS look 'smart' best colours I've used are the mid grey (colour 1) and darker blue (bottom left corner, colour 2) but there's such a lack of choice.

I'd like to see the compo colour change removed, might make people a bit more individual! Either that or make it paint kits or something as right now there's not really a market for anything else when it's like this.

Yes, paint kits for the armor would be a great idea. At least then AS could make some extra credits that way.

My vote is for color kits. For all armor. Right now, the AS has to pretty much guess what color the customer wants, which is stupid frankly. Let the customer decide, using their own eyes.

Oh, and I don't care who it's made by. Let artisans make them. Armorsmiths needmore credits? LOL? Seriously, how much do *you* think you'd make off color kits? 10k for a crate maybe? I'll just stick to the armor, thanks.
