I was making some Wookiee Hunting Armor tonight.

I made two of each bracer 80% kinetic 58% base ~80 ham

I made two chest plates 80% kinetic 58% base don't remember ham

I made 3 legging and only got 79% kinetic 57% base

I even got 3 amazing successes on the last one.

They are all starting out at 42% kinetic and 40% base before experimentation.

What I am doing wrong. Everything is good but my dath evergeen. but I am able to hit 80% on the bracers with a problem. I know the chest plate has one more item, so I can see it being higher, but I tried three times with no change. Do you think getting better dath evergreen will help that (mine is currently oq + sr = 420 and the currrent is like 900 lol .)

I guess what I don't understand is with the same resource, I can't hit 80% on the legging while I can all the rest.

most likely it is this problem

with composite, you often have chestplates that have 1% lower resists using the same segments, this is because it uses a larger % of intrusive and solid petro than say the gloves, so if you have bad intrusive, good wooly hide can make up for it on some peices, but not ones like the chest plate.

I forgot that exact resources, but if a bracer of wookiee armor uses 50 lok leathery and 25 mythral copper that is 2:1 ratio, it might be like a 5:2 ratio on the pants, and if one resource has poor stats, then you can end up with different stats on different peices.

if you start haveing different stats on each bracer, then we really need to talk

Skinny that makes perfect since and I never thought of that. You are always so helpful. I need to pick up some better dant evergreen and I should be in business.

I am guess the dant animal bones off set it in the chestplate and with out them in the legging is why I am only hitting 79%. LOL I wish Composite was forgiving on resources like the wookiee stuff is.

im getting 80%Kinetic 68-69%base with 3% armor padding, have yet to get some 4% armor padding, chest comes out 1% lower, so im thinking probably using the the better padding for the chestplate, and 1% lower for the other pieces so this way they stay consistent, and also you save more of the better padding

yea, i have really good dath evergreen, so that helps, and its probably has to do with the dan animal bones bringing the chest down too, not too mention 900 oq 900sr dath leathery, fair lok leathery, fair yavin evergreen, 900 oq, sr naboo fiberplast, 980oq 990sr steel, 2nd best amorphous gems on server, pretty good polymer, best mythra on the server i think, and 2nd best wooly i think my layers are just 90% quality, cuz im using my third best polymer
