For a Full suit of padded armor? Im in the market for one on Gorath, and I've been in touch with an armorsmith there, but can't get him to tell me how many he would need for a whole suit. I told him I would see about getting the segments. Keep in mind I have about 20 padded armor segments in my bank. I would like to find out how many would actually be needed vs how many this armorsmith tells me, if he ever does. This is so he doesn't take too many, keep the rest, but claim he used them all in my suit.
Now Im not accusing Armorsmiths of being thieves. Its just never having done the armorsmith profession, I have nothing to go by except an armorsmiths word when it comes to materials and such. If anyone here can give a little general info on the padded armor as well as an answer Id be very greatful. Thank you.

Here are the segments per piece of armor
2 segments for boots
1 segment for every arm piece and gloves
3 segments for helmets and pants
4 segments for chest
You might want a few extra segments just incase the smith gets a failed experiment along the way
