I'm trying to craft the chestplate but whenever I put in the sythetic cloth it says that I shouldn't be able to put that item in there.

It wants 3 items and I craft them exactly the same. I think even with the same percentages.

What am i doing wrong in this?

Thanks, can I do that? or do I need yet another profession to help me out with that.

I picked up the novice tailor skill because I could never find anybody with that skill to help em out nor didI find much of this in any store or bazaar. I'm all for interdependent skills but i get these schematics that are essentially useless unless i find another player willing to help me out.

You'll need either a tailor to sell you factory crates of synth cloth, orcreate yourself a shematic to run in your own factory. The easiest thing to do would be to check a main city's bazaar. Theed and Coronet frequently have crates of synth cloth for sale ( usually 3-4k a crate).
