Thread: 71-72 base armor Question

I am a 12 point AS on Bria, and have been for a while. I've got some great resources. In most cases, the best to spawn on the server, yet I can't reach 70% base without loot. I'm trying to determine if it's becuase of my layers/segments or final combine stuff.
What is your base resist on your segments? Mine are about 33-34%.

The base resist for my segments is 35% and I can get 72% Base if I use my best resources.

35% here too. Usually hit 71-72%. Best resources on my server too.

34% and I get 71 or 72% base depending on wether I burn my 998 OQ solid (down to 100k)
Getting from 69 to 71% is a tough leap and requires either killer segment resources OR perfect final assembly stuff assuming yu are at 34% to start.

Yep, your base resist is pretty low on your segs. Are you maxing out the middile bar on your layers? Even if the effectiveness % isn't going up, you are getting decimal gains per experimental point. Formula is (1 + 4*%exp). If you can hit 34-35% and not hit 70%+ then your problem is your final combine resources, you are looking for stuff that is high in OQ/SR. Go to SWGCraft.com -> Find Resource -> Select your shard/resource, put in 50/50 under OQ/SR -> Sort results by 'score', to figure out what the 'best' is, and how your stuff stacks up.

make sure you max your layers all the way, dont just stop when it hits 4%, there are decimals
then use primo resources on the final combine

35% segs, on Lowca I can hit 71% using the absolute best resources ever to spawn.

i max at 71 on kauri, but i just got my hands on some new iron to try out. its 35% layers and a good hidden round off your main resources that do it. i hope other servers get better beyrllius than i do

Yup. But 70% is sucha nice, round number to go along with 80% kinetic / elec, so I just make that. Really stretches the resources out since you can throw in our 948 OQ/SR wooly in there and not have to use the year old copper to hit that mark.

Use Owop, Emmi and Baco. So it's not all the highest OQ+SR. This still gets me 71% on all pieces.

It's amazing what Omill did for us, as well as Enoo (good grief we were due for our first really nice amor gem spawn). I think I'm completely out of Ewekris though. That makes me a sad panda, just becuase that stuff was like crack to me - I think I burned through a few million units on layers.

The gemstone helped a lot. 96% exp on base is nice. Still have my 100% base layers, and they do just as good.
