As a Wookiee warrior, I try to use the best armor available to me, so I thought I'd read up on armor and the armorsmith profession.

After reading JaatoWaals's thread "The Complete Guide to Armor and Armorcrafting", I saw that none of the lootable segments could be used in making Kashyyykian Ceremonial, Black Mountain or Hunter armor, while krayt tissues could be used in Composite armor. Is this true? Wookiee armor cannot be made using any looted segments?

you can not use looted SEGMENTS for and of the kash armors

you CAN you any of the armor enhancements in the Kash armors

Tantal, mabari and RIS can not use looted segments either

enhancements that can be used to enhance wookiee armorinclude, but are not limited to

janta hide (raise base %)

rancor hide (raise base % and heat and cold%)

krayt scales (raise everything but stun, bump everything to special protection)

Night sister shards (lower HAM)

Minor correction: Krayt scales leave electric in base. Janta and rancor hides (add base and condition)are great for hunting armor.

Voritor scales are a good cheap way to get a bit higher kinetic on ceremonial without raising the price.
