Hi there I'm new to he whole game and armour making so I was hoping you could answer a question for me. I just got novice armoursmith and thought I would make some Mabari armour. But I hit on a problem it says I need 3 identicalsynthetic cloth from a factory crate ....... for which I need novice talor ...... so I grind novice tailor to make the cloth ..... and make 3 synthetic cloths and only one of them can be used in the crafting process it wont accept the other 2. What am I doing wrong ? Your help would be greatly appreciated and any other advice and helpfor an up and coming armoursmith would also be welcome.

all of the pieces of cloth need to have the same serial number, and the only way to do that is to make a schematic and have them made in a wearables factory. You are going to need a wearables factory down the road so I sudgest investing in one, as well as a clothing and armor crafting station. Put one up in your house, and craft the cloth with a wearables crafting tool, and you will get a menu pop up near the end of crafting asking if you wish to experiment (some things can't be experimented), create protype, or create schematic.

for the cloth, you want to create a schematic, this will send a synth cloth schematic to your dapad.

Now go to your factory, and after making sure it has plenty of power and maintanence, select the chose schematics option, and pick your synth cloth schematic, then put in the exact same resources you used to make the schematic into the factory. It is very important that you use the exact same resources, as that is what the schematic tells the factory to look for. Now let the factory go for a while and when you come back you will have creates of synth cloth in your finished hopper of the factory, take them out and continue with crafting.

You will soon be using this process very regularly for the creation of armor segments, so I suggest getting used to using a factory. More advanced forms of armor require multilple armor segments for most pieces, and so you will need to make them in a factory as well.

Going to be a while then before I make this as I doubt I could afford a factory at the moment I have only been playing 2 weeks so money is not something I have alot of. If anyone knows were I can buy synthetic cloth it would be much appreciated.

Personally I went and picked up a few Tailoring skills for a while, so that I had a reliable supply of Synth Cloth, Armor Padding, etc. But now that I've got a guildmate that is a good supplier of the Tailor made components. It really helps in the long run.
