Well, this is it my friends, the end is here.
I know I've only been at most the occaisional voice on this forumbut I have been one of you since pre-launch beta, and I did give up the game once in disgust for 8 months, but I want you to know that I really respect all the hard work everyone has put into this profession. I doubt we'll ever understand why the devs decided to brutally rapë this game the way they have, but we know we fought it tooth and nail till the end. All their lies about positive feedback hasn't fooled a soul.
CU is hitting the first batch of servers tonight and forever will our game experience be changed for the very worst. I'll still be here, but wanted to say this before the bomb hits in 5 hours.

Right with ya Rypht. Started the game as an armorsmith in beta, kept it in live, haven't dropped it once, and don't intend to. But its gonna be a bitter road for us who decide to keep it now. I wish SOE would get their act together. I've never been witness to a bigger group of incompetent people in all my life, this much I'm certain of. If I did business the way they did, I wouldn't have a job. Needless to say, some of them shouldn't have a job either. There are people with clearer visions who get things done the *right* way out there. This Dev group simply doesn't have it.
I'm all for a combat change. I totally understand why its happening, and agree with it. Everything from buffs, to armor, had to be less uber, by far. However, they just took our profession and beat it with the ugly stick. Its no fun anymore. One line of experimentation. So many resources that the "casual" player can't keep up anymore. Thanks for that, by the way.
Whats more, they're pushing out the CU this week, which I find incredibly insulting. SOE, have you learned NOTHING from past experience? Remember launch? Buggy? Broken? Boring? You guys are simply amazing. You're worse than LaTroy Hawkins in the ninth inning. How could you be worse? Because as horrible as he is, he at least can get the ball to home plate. You guys can't even do that - you're too busy fumbling the ball, or turning something that should be simple, into something that is complex. I don't know if its the arrogance, or the general lack of know-how to make a game fun, but you guys practically make me sick.
My thanks goes out to all of us, who have fought diligently to turn this around. SOE can change the rules of the game, but its no longer the game keeping me around, its the people. Thanks to all of you!

/salute Well, thank you for saving me 30 bucks a month SOE, as I no longer need my armorsmith, or my weaponsmith, sad to say my 1st toon at launch was a crafter from the start and that chapter has ended...all I need now is my fighter, but oh wait, what good is he if noone is crafting, battle gear make that 45 bucks
, I'd like to say soon we will only see tk's as they can't wear armor anyways, but wait, all I see are TK's lol. Well anyway's thanks tothe players for the years of fun, and SOE, hopeyour new customer's enjoy you're new game, cause it isnt the game I bought in 2003, and to me it is just becoming a fancy instant messenger
