Well on TC4 I had no problem converting armor that was in a backpack. Armor in crates though is apparenlty another matter.

Though I should clarify. You have to take the armor OUT of your backpack and put it into your inventory. You can only use the refit option on armor when it is sitting in your inventory. So if its in a backpack or vault, you need to pull it out and then you can convert it.
