I am trying to burn through a couple thousand armor layers before they become obsolete.
I am alone???

nope, Tavin is working hard to make his first and only sets of comp after mastering AS, I was soo proud to make 80/80 kin/elec and 78base and if I am lucky I'll be able to make 5-10 suits of comp tommorow before things go down (factories cook'n out the segs now), I also made some 80kin/80energy and I might make a few suits of that...a couple questions though..
will the segments convert into anything?
will comp only convert to the battle armor or will we at least have a choice (since comp is pretty much the only armor most people have right now)

My understanding is that layers and segs DO NOT convert, thats why I am trying to use up everything that I have.
I read that the LOOTED enhancers, i.e. krayt segs, etc. DO convert, so I am stockpilling those for now.

Yeah I had a hell of a crafting/slicing marathon myself. Went from about 100 AS XP to 80,000 something. And I still didnt manage to use up all my layers and segments.
As for loots converting. Dont know. They didnt on TC4 for me. They were all blank. My geo cubes, janta hide, NS shards and layers etc. And the only statted ones I've so far heard of were all freshly looted on the TCs.
