Thread: Just sitting around waiting to make my first RIS piece
Will do Elood, thanks!
As far as needing an additional 40% off of layers + enhancers, I don't think it will be that much. The boots I made were around 40% base without any layers or segment enhancers. I also made them without using my +10 experimentation clothing, so I'd have another two points between the segment and the final combine.
Also, two of my resources are now much, much better. The chalron (sp?) ore I used was around 40 (yes, forty) OQ, the stuff I have now is 1000 OQ with a slightly higher SR than the old stuff. The rori wooly I used for my boots was also in the low double digits, and the stuff I've since aquired isin the high 900's onOQ with slightly higher SR than the old stuff.
I'm also hoping that the interwoven schematic has higher inherent resists than the regular segment schematic, something like the difference between regular and advanced segments for normal armor.
Anywho, it's all armchair armorsmithing until some nice Yavin bone comes along...

Well all I'm saying is 40% base additives will ensure you your 80/80, not that it can't be done with less.
These are my boots

They are made with the best RIS resource on our sever using the Interwoven schematic. Even our Yavin animal bones have good stats (I believe 1800+ for OQ+SR).
These were made with 31% worth of NS layers, and a 5% yellow power cube (I used very good NS shards in special slot).
Tuanga would have to verify, but I believe he had an amazing success on the kinetic experimentation.
Therefore if 36% makes 77/80, I am assuming 40% additives could end up with 80/80 (you might not get an amazing success).
