It's not fair to be cowardly in this instance.
Rather, explain to him that even the best AS's crit fail, and thus you are not responsible for it happening to his suit, and that he should bring extras of each piece, just in case. I know that is what I am going to do when I go to finally have my RIS suit made - I plan on having at least 2 Extras of each.
If he has an issue with that, then by all means, then refuse to do the suit. But if he is ok with that, save the conversation, and you will always have proof to back you up.

I charge 500k per RIS piece. It costs me 1-2 mil for a 5 use Interwoven schematic. Plus I use the best resources that have been available, and some of those were pretty old and cost 100-200 cpu. Also, covers the cost of the crafting foods I use and my time.

I had a guy ask what I charged to make a piece of RIS....he provides the loot.
Any of you had similar requests?
I told him 250k...I should have thought more about it. I think I'll do it for 20k to cover some harvesting/material costs. Or not at all. Can you imagine the potential headaches if there was a crit at assembly?
I'm leaning towards not doing it, just to avoid the potential crit issue.
