Thread: Default PSG vulnerabilities

The vulnerabilties that PSG's are supposed to have are: Kinetic, Blast & Acid. Once the vuln shift bug is fixed for them those are the vulnerabilities we'll be seeing. Energy is the correct special resistance.

Thanks for reporting this back to us. This is sort of what I was expecting, although I did expect Restraint to also be on the vulnerability list

Also, do you happen to know when we should expect this change to arrive on live?

I wish It was slated to be fixed with Publish 8, but I haven't noticed any fixes on TC. Given that it appears that they've fixed RIS, hopefully it's shouldn't be too far off in the future.

I get the impression that there hasn't been a fix yet. He's just stating what they're going to be, if it gets fixed. So I wouldn't count on any sort of date to be set.

Hopefully they will get a chance to sneak it in with publish 8 BTW, what are the correct set of resists on the RIS armour? I haven't had a chance to check them on TC and haven't seen them mentioned in the forum. Oh, and are the changes in the RIS armour resists being applied to new and existing armour? or are we going to end up with even more pre-change stuff in the game?

Off the top of my head, I think the RIS vulns are supposed to be acid and stun. All the reports I've heard is that all RIS armor, old and new, has stablized on those vulns.

They just posted notes for test center updates today. Says something about fixing stats changing on armor. Is this the fix?

Well, at least it's good to see I haven't gone completely insane yet. I'm somewhat new to the game and one of the first crafting professions I chose was Armorsmithing. The personal shield generators called out to me. Imagine my suprise when I create one that appeared to have no vulnerabilities until I logged in next and found almost everything had shifted to being vulnerable to everything including the kitchen sink (which kicked my butt. Damn dirty dishes!).

Thanks for the update.

Aren't Imperial PSG's already working fine? I made a run and have been told they work perfect and do not shift. They already have the 3 vulns.

yep, it looks like maybe this is fixed. When I get home tonight (very late) I'll check it out and post the results here.

From today's TC notes:

Armor: Fixed armor changing stats when crossing server boundaries.

I recently put some Imp Prototype PSG's on a vendor that I made a long time ago and they had the correct vulns (acid, kinetic, blast). I thought maybe they were fixed, so I contacted several other armorsmiths on the server, but they told me that they were still experiencing shifts on the Imp PSG's. Any one else noticed if the resists have stablized for them?

Well, as most of us know, the problem they have had with Armor shifting stats is armor that supposedly had EVERY protections...since the Imperial PSG's have NEVER had all protections, and on creation have had consistant Protection/Vulns...I should have known they worked. Instead I made energy ones my first few rounds DOH!

So you are saying if you have an imperial psg and after this patch it will go to whatever it's supposed to be with whatever protections in Blast/Acid/Kinetic being converted to vulnerabilities?
