Trying to find a definitve thread about armor repair will drive one nuts. Ok so I know that basically everyone has the same repair ability, you can get some tapes to help, but here's the gist of my questions.
When should you repair armor?
Do Crafting stations help?
Are there any specific factors besides tapes/attachments that affect it?
Is there any food that gives repair bonuses?
Has there been any experimentation with this?
Is there a difference between a "repair" and an "armor repair" tape?
I have no problem buying replacement pieces, but what I'd rather do is develop suits that are tailored to what I'm doing and have 6 to 8 sets rather than 3 or 4 so in order to do it properly I need to manage the repairs better.
It would be a nice service to the community of some Armorsmith could develop a stickied "Definitive Armor Repair Guide".
Thanks,
W

its luck of the roll although i will say with my 99.9% repair tools as long as the armor is around 50% (even lower sometimes) I rarely fail..although non armorsmithes seem to fail more often with same tools..

I wonder about this as well. As a wookie I burn through that new armour. A single piece covering most of the body means it goes down pretty fast.
To top it all off I just looted a pair of slippers from a meatlump with +1 to armour repair. I don't see that mod listed on any proffesion...
