ok how does armour decay .. is the dmg that is prevented substrackted from the condition ( 1) or is the dmg that finaly gets trough substrackted from condition (2 )

(1) : 500 dmg , AR1 = 250 dmg ,90% resists = 25 dmg trough and 474 dmg prevented ( and substrckted from condition ? )

Or

(2) : 500 dmg , AR1 = 250 , 90% resists = 25 dmg trough and thus 25 dmg substrackted from condition ?

ive heard peopel claiming eihter one of these staitmends and am confused .. so please can you explain to me how condition loss works ..

According to the 'rules' - the damage that gets through is subtracted from the durability- dunno if this is true in realistic play though as ive never tested it.

I can't honestly see either method working. Method 1 means that your chesplate would break in about 30/40 hits from a NS/Krayt, as they deal massive damage, think about your chestplate decaying 1000 condition every hit. But in the case of method two, it would mean armor with a low resist would break easily when attacked by something it doesn't protect well against, meaning that if I was using a 9% stun chestplate against a fencer with a stun baton, then my armor would decay by 5/600 every hit, as that is the damage getting through.

There must be a formula for it, something complex involving %s etc.

according to the SWG's own advanced guide to armor (http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=Advanced%20Guide%20Armor%20Fundamentals), it's the second one.
