No, but, any Master Armorsmith will be happy to make you a repair tool if you'll just NEVER ask "can u repare m armur???".

There were patch notes way back in November that said Armorsmiths do get repair bonuses for repairing armor. Same as weaponsmiths with weapons. You just won't see the skill mod.

There is a bonus for masters, as far as I know--it's not clear whether it applies to lower-level armorsmiths (and weaponsmiths), but using kits with a master (extensively enough to get statistics) and then a non-armorsmith, youshould notice a difference, although it doesn't seem to be a HUGE one.

maybe there is maybe there isnt
i always get my stuff repaired by a master with the mindset "it may not help, but it certainly wont hurt"

I actually did a test withmy non-AS alt once. I made 50 cheap armorweave gloves and cloned until they were down to about 40%.I (Master Armorsmith)repaired 25 than had my alt fix 25 in the same location with the same quality tools. The MA broke 4 and my alt broke 3.
It should matter...and it should also give an MA that repairs a piece he made an additional bonus.
