depends on the style your going for.
personaly I like chitin armor ( full suit)
but, that you could do is, arms of chitin, helm of RIS, chest of Tantel or chitin or bone, pants of Bone or chitin, boots of bone, gloves of Chitin.

that would make for an interesting look

I always wished I could get bright orange and red chitin...thought I might be able to make something like the suit from Metroid

I like padded personally, except for the mushroom helmet.

I made a suit for someone that stood out:

Maroon RIS legs, maroon chitin bracers and biceps, maroon tantel chest, and ubese gloves. She didn't like any of the helmets with it and they messed up her hair, so didn't wear one I thought dark chitin boots or black mabari boots looked decent with it, but she didn't really like them either and used black composite.

I saw another decent suit that was all black padded pieces except for black mabari boots and a black tantel helmet.

Finally, don't forget Black Sun Helmets for cool factor
