Thread: 45% Base Krayt Composite Armor Segments? Garbage or worth saving?

I looted a set of four of these last night and my first thought was...oh great, more crap. Then I looked at one and they have 45% kinetic base and 7250 Integrity.I have looted many of these in the last week or two and havenotseen any even close to thisbase level.Any thoughts on whether this is junk or not?

These aresome great segments which would make 80% base composite with high integrity. If you are on Shadowfire, please look me up

I can make 45% resist comp with the crappy 10% segments so you should be able to get someone to make you a chestplate with 80% resists across the board (except stun). It will have very good condition and probably weigh 1/3 less than regular comp. Plus any effectiveness slice will push the resists to 90%.

Those are garbage. but instead of just destroying them you can throw them on my vendor. Ill take them off your hands. In exchange ill give you a few hundred credits or some bone armor.

i was fortunate enough to have a guildie loot 4 46% segments, came out to 80 down the line ( stun/ls reists of course ) 51k condition and the gods were smiling cause it sliced to 90%. <...now that is one chest worth a adk

You would have to get 80% base with those, I made a few Chest Plates with some 36% I looted and they came out 72% base.

Good compo crafter got 35% segmets, so krayt seg below 34-35 will not give uber results

Ive got a couple of 45's aswell, but will be split up and im not sure that 1 is enough for a decent bit of armour. So anything using these cant have stun resists then?

By the way, if you slice this composite to 90% , you'll have 90% electr. too ( you cannot get more than 80% other way)

Nope, no stun resist from krayt segments. And two segments will make a pair of boots, one bicep or bracer, or two pairs of gloves.
