Thread: TKA Template stacking concerns for armor sales

I am a bit behind on some of the current news (Loggin into test center made me sick, and I have about 5000 segments to turn into armor before they poof) My concern is with players just stacking TKA to get the armor and basically leaving us unemployed. I thought I read somewhere though that if they equip another weapon than their TKA armor doesn't function. Can someone confirm/deny this? If they get the TKA armor no matter what - our sales are going to further drop, and armorsmith will be as profitable as image designer.... ugh.

I was on TC PVPing ect and a guy was ARMORLESS weilding a pike and whooped up on me as a BH/DOC..Totally whoopd me..So I told my brother who is master bh master pistols to try and duel him...We both got are bungs handed to us. By a guy in no armor and we where wearing reb assult armor..makes no sence that a guy with no armor has almost the same resists as a guy in a FULL SUIT OF HEAVY ARMOR.

If you don't believe that ninjas have REAL Ultimate Power you better get a life right now or they will chop your head off!!! It's an easy choice, if you ask me.
Ninjas are sooooooooooo sweet that I want to crap my pants. I can't believe it sometimes, but I feel it inside my heart. These guys are totally awesome and that's a fact. Ninjas are fast, smooth, cool, strong, powerful, and sweet. I can't wait to start yoga next year. I love ninjas with all of my body (including my pee pee)."

I got template TKA/SWordsman/pikeman 0130/fencer0004 .... with schyte in hand and with hand crafted Padder armor i can easy defeat same template without it

Techinically TKA armor is not suppose to work with an equiped weapon.

TKA armor will not work while a weapon other then a tka weapon isin useor a peice of armor is worn.

in current TC , TKA armor litle worst then crafted .... so it can be used for critical situation if main armor decayed to 0, but not total replace.

tka armor does work when you equip another weapon, just as regular armor works when you equip a knuckler. however your correct it does not work when armor is equiped

i dont think it really matters, on TC-ep3 wearing advancedshock trooper"frog armor" (from my commando certs) and using commando and TK weapons (im a TKM) on and off, i was taking about 400 damage in PvP, and using the same thing without armor only made about a 15 point difference

If it can be balanced I really agree that TKMs shouldnt need to wear armor. Honestly I do not see people going to this profession just to save $$$ on armor. Ultimately, its just whatever pple have most fun playing!

Nah some people will go TKM just to save money on armor. Especially since prices are going to go up for sure post CU if they keep resource requirements the way they are now.
