Heard a rumour that its being considered to improve Faction Armour, well I have one or two simple suggestions that should keep Armoursmiths happy (i.e. will prevent "OMG everyone buys their Armour from the Faction Recruiter now!!! **edit**!!!" etc), will make Faction Armour better and maintain the current need to gather FP to be able to obtain it (remove that requirement and gathering FP becomes almost useless imo).
Suggestion #1:
- Players still obtain Faction Armour as they do now, from recruiters at the cost of FP, and the stats are the same as they are now, useless for actual use.
- These current Armour Pieces are used as 'components' in the crafting process by Armoursmiths to create the new 'uber' (read: not useless) Faction Armour. It can be identical in looks, just better stats. -Effectively the Armoursmith 'enhances' the normal faction armour with components and materials.
Suggestion #2:
- 'Uber' Faction Armour Schematics have to be purchased from a recruiter at the cost of FP. Each Schematic is one use only.
- Players hand the Schematics to Armoursmiths who then craft the armour from here.
- Possibly leave the currently 'useless' Armour as purchasable from the recruiter and adjust the prices accordingly.

Great Idee but think that only faction allied AS must make the faction armor
Like you and me where Imperial make only ST armor
Rebels only make Those ugly Green suits
btw this whas a thing I was especting bevore I playing the game in beta .... crafters who make those things... Droid Engeneer AT-ST and maiby some rebel stuff.... Faction base by an Architeckt ecttt... Armor plating of turrets and AT-STs from Armorsmiths Weapons on it from Weaponssmiths .... this make a team play operation to make realy good stuff and gives the game an extea dimention. just dont get regular bases from FP but only Schematics..... WTH let Bioengeneers make Troopers Clone wars
DE got some Armor plating from AS only the nerfed it so no use for it any more... AS rely on tailors a little ... those things is wat the crafting profs are missing a strongen bond with other professions not able to make it alone
Hoply they make it good in JTL but I doubt it

Can someone please convince the devs to knock the FP cost of armour schems down. I realize the costs do change depending on whose winning the GCW, but 11000+ FP for a chest plate is nuts, there is no way you can even put a reasonable price on that kinda finished product.

well i understood CU armor was 19k to equip + whatever they decided to saddle us AS with... and rumor was it was to be reduced by half? anyone check to see if it has been reduced by that much?

Its been reduced to a little over 7K from what I understand, not a rumor. Check the test center forum for their recent update post - its listed. Also, there's another good thread started detailing how the bio-linking will work, along with faction points, and I believe its updated to reflect the change. Not a bad post for a sticky, IMHO.
