What doesBio linking faction armor do ?

it makes it so that only you can wear it, and no one else

and you must Bio-link to equip it.

just once. It is a way to Bind the Armor to you more than anything. Once you Bio link it it becuase armor only you can use, however if you do not plan to wear it you can own all faction armor types (for your collection) and you can trade Bio-Linked armor just they cannot wear it if you trade it.
