AUK/Ubese shirts or you can up up the tech tree and do cores.

I forget exactly how it went, something like AUKs or Segs/Basic Cores and while grinding those, have factories run recon segments, then make the highest level cores you can going up to Tech 4 first for the adv recon cores. Downside is, I wouldn't want to try the grind without the frogs only a 1:1 resource to xp ratio and increasingly expensive resource-wise with the higher cores...
