Hi there, I've decided to focus on crafted good Composite armor with my M.A.S, and had a few questions before I get started that I hoped you could help me with.

This ones a generic crafting question- what's the most important statistics for High quality Composite resources? Overall quality or something else?

What are your recommendations on types of resources to use for good composite armor (ie, what kind of Wooly hide/ steel)?

A question about layers: what layers do you put in your Composite armor, and the same question about what type of resources do you use to get the best layers?

Johnny,

you do realize that armor crafting is vastly different compared to pre-CU? I would love to be able to point you in the direction of a FAQ or guide, but it has unfortunately not been updated since the CU hit.

I am a bit puzzled by your choice, Composite armor is just one type of Assault armor. If you want to sell just one type you might be better off with Battle Armor. This is the armor certified to most combat professions. Or at least provide all types of Assault armor.

For resources, stand next to a Personal Crafting Station (or Crafting Droid) and open your crafting tool. It will show that for segments and cores you are looking for high OQ and SR (50% each), and also show what type of resources you need. Some resources are named (like Dantooine Wooly for Assault Cores). Play around with crafting and get experience by doing it.

Layers : primus, kinetic or energy, though I would only recommend the two first.

Resources : check your crafting tool. If you have nothing, you are in for a tough ride...

Personally, I would use my respec token on something else right now.
