Sorry to ask this, but my search engine is borked.
What determines the number of sockets in the armor? I am getting random numbers right now. Thanks for any input!

I swear assembly helps (way more 4 sockets at master then when without) but I am WAY too lazy to test it

before cu i was making belts and shirts...using poor qaulity resources i would get 1 or 2 sockets then every 10 or so tries i might hit 3 sockets. when using average to good resources i was hitting 3 and 4 almost everytime.

What I've done in the past (mind you this was before factories got borked) I'd simply keep crafting by hand until I got a piece that was of a quality to my satisfaction and had 4 sockets. Make a schematic of that one and do a decent size run of it. Then I'd simply throw them all onto a vendor butsell the 4 socketed ones for like 10k more
