K... I did some runs last night and found some interesting data that may help. I made a run of Kashyyykian Hunting Armor and chenged colors to customize the suits from the default colors.

The colors changed as soon as the schematic was done. So the schematic is not retaining the colors, at least on this type of armor. The exception to this is both BICEPS, which retained their color in the schematics and when pulled from crates after being completed.

Also, it seems that Padded armor retains its color all the way through the process. Either that or the color black is not affected.

Just some info that someone might find useful in tracking this bug down.

Check the bug thread its a well know issue (Annoying as hell) were hopeing for a fix very soon

i had this problem and ran off the pieces anyway (grinder armor for noob guildies) and the colors i selected showed!! (black instead of schematic white)

i had a problem with ubese but only the chest part the rest of it came out as intended
