Thread: Another display bug? please confirm

Hi all. Not sure if this has been mentioned before... I looked through Caile's bug thread and did a search, but did not see this mentioned.
Pre-cu, when armor condition dropped below 50%, the resistance numbers began dropping as the protection the armor provided dropped. Since the CU, we know that those stats do not change when the condition drops below the 50%, and many people thought the armor retained it's full protection, but I just ran a test on my alt....
Wearing 7 of the 9 pieces of armor all of which were above 50% condition, letting a brackaset hit me... 49 damage absorbtion by armor every time (except when ithit the 2 armor holes)
Wearing only the 2 pieces below 50% condition, 44 and 48 damage absorbtion.
Both brackasets were hitting for a total possible of 104.
All armor had the same resistance stats across the board (battle armor)
So... is there a bug in that the armor is not displaying the drop in protection? i.e. 6000 when it's above 50% condition, then... as it drops below 50%, that 6000 number SHOULD start falling with the drop in protection!
If so... add another bug to the list.

That's funny, I was thinking about running a test on this very thing when I saw the smuggler options in patch list.
One of the slicing options is to reduce the amount of protection loss after 50%, so my first thought was "uh... once again devs don't know their own game". Then my second thought was "I wonder if there's a display bug"

Yeah armor stats are not decaying along with the armor's condition.

That's exactly what I was looking at it when I decided to test it. I had a sense before, but I was pretty sure something was wrong when I read that.
