You can't use Kryat COMPOSITE segments in any armor except COMPOSITE.

For scales, though, you will need a minium of 5 matching (same serial number) scales. One is "lost" in the creation of a factory schematic to make 4 identical segments.

Your best bet would be to find 9 identical. One is lost in creation of the schematic, which would leave 8. With that, you can make 2 bps. If you had 8 identical, then you could make a bp and legs. So, you only need 5 identical, but if you get more, thats better.

This is highly suggested...I had 9, made one segment, and then failed on one BP. The other came out nice though. The more the merrier. If you have the minimum needed for a piece of armor, IT WILL FAIL!
