...with my grind for Jedi over, and my obsession with armor overtaking me, I've decided to make Armorsmith my final profession.
I'd like to hear any tips you have for a beginning crafter. You guys have a great correspondent and I've read the guide. It's really helpful. I'm just new to the resources. An explanation to shifts and where to hunt for resources is what I'm really looking for. Also, a tip on how to manage harvesters would be nice.
Thanks in advance!

First off I'll say swgcraft.com. Has current lists of all resources on all servers. Its a lifesaver. Wouldn't be able to be an armorsmith without it. Would have either gone insane from the planet running around or would have quit. Now that we have that out of the way, other things. Most resources appear on several planets, stay for 6-10 days, then leave. They usually have slightly stagered entrences and exits, entering and leaving the planet(s) they are one over a day or two. Harvestor maitenance is a pain, plain and simple. I hold out hope that the mentioned "droid thingy that allows you to pay maitenence from afar" gives harvestor status also, but who knows. I try to jump on a resource I want as soon as possible. I try do one thing, I don't like splitting my harvestors. Try to dump all 7 of my BER 10 meds and wait. I basicly dump 4-5 days worth of credis and power in each and come back in a few days. When the spawn hits about 7 days, start checking it regularly so don't have them sitting there doing nothihg. Surveying for resources can be the most annoying part, can take forever to find a good concentration in a buildable area. I like naboo personally, its flat. Lok is nice, but naboo is easier to get to. Hope these help, if you have any more questions ask and I'll try to explain.
