ok so i have been taing a few custom orders as of late. nothing fancy, unlayerd comp, high kentic ubease repair 12 suits of comp etc.

however in my inbox came a couple of hard to deal with requests.

firstly:

1 suit of advnaced comp with 80% kentic and the whole suit scliced for encumbrance.

Thats hard to do. i was thinking how much to charge her. it sounds like i would have to make sevral suits of comp to see if i could get them all enc scliced. and i dunno what i would do with the resists ones.

secondly:

1 suit of advanced comp with 35% stun resist and at least 50% base resists. if possable sclice it for resists (scliceing resists increasebase resists

again much like the top one but this is stun. i have the materials but i dunno how much this would cost to do.

thirdly:

1 suit of advanced comp with 80% kentic and unscliced. each pice to have 4 sockets.

OK how do u make sockets????

forth:

steel weve marbri.

Were the heck do i get that????

fith:

2 creats of MK3 PSG's with as much kentic as possable.

do they even work these days?

last thing:

this is my normal comp i sell:

80% kentic

60% elec

50% base

stun vunarable.

H: aprox 900

A: aprox 800

M: aprox 900

i sell this for 250k, is that a good price or am i shafting my customers?

ok thx people

For #1 I would charge her for every piece you make and slice to get the suit the way she wants it. I would then tack on a small additional fee for the convenience of doing all that for her. Back when I was tailor, I did this when folks want weird requests like a bodysuit that matches their skin. There is no reason you should lose money filling a request for someone else. If you think you can sell the resist sliced ones, then cut her a price break on them. But i wouldn't just throw those away without getting some compensation.

For #2 I would do the same as well.

For #3, sockets are added to your armor as part of the final make and you have no control over them. Since many pieces of 2 or 3 socket armor will sell, I would not charge much more for the 4 socket armor. Depends on how much time I spent experimenting until I got all pieces with 4 sockets. 80% Kinetic composite sells well, so you should have no problem selling the others.

#4 - This is a reward that you get doing the Jabba themepark. You can't make it. They need to get some friends together and do the Jabba Themepark.

#5 - Don't make PSGs so I can't answer this one.

Final - Pricing is server specific, but I sell a lighter version (720-650-720) of 60% Base 80% Kinetic for 275K on Bria and it sells as fast as I can make it. Don't know about your server though. My guess is if you are selling at the price you said, then it is fair. If you aren't, then drop your prices.

If they specificly want 4 sockets, (I don't know why they would but people are strange), make them pay a surcharge for the extra work. You should be able to sell the non-4 ones, so thats not as bad as the encum slicing. I don't do slicing, its way to much of a pain, not worth the irritation.
