Thread: Base effectiveness and Special Protection what is the difference?

Just something I have been meaning to ask.


What is the difference between an 80% in Special protection and an 80% in base effectiveness? Or is there one?

There is no difference damagewise. The only differences apply during crafting (special is generally easier to get high) and when slicing (only base and encumbrance is sliceable).
