12 point AS used to be lovely pre-CU, it gave a real edge.

Post CU it just meant getting more condition out of a suit.

Post NGE we don't have to worry about condition.


I saw the following in another forum, almost made me laugh (was regarding the ADK conversions):

"It would be like taking away armorsmith experimentation suits and giving them a nice rifle in exchange."


Ok, 2 extra points is handy if you get a bad experi but unless it's a bit of RIS, Mando or BH it's no real loss to kill that crafting session and try again, after all that's what we did repeatedly pre-CU to get the best suits mad we could.


And we don't even get a rifle.

Only up side for me that I can see is that my bando with the AS experi on also has +25 Unarmed Damage, if that converts properly into the NGE it may be some use to someone, not to me though.

Perhaps our suits will still help protect us from critical fails. I had my first one ever since the CU last night, and I'm certain it's because I dropped the one box of FS experimentation I had. But about the only place a crit fail would really hurt you in the NGE is if you're working with health enhanced stuff. Condition won't matter on final assembly, and you can always redo a layer, segment, or core.
