I canceled my account today. I am tired of having my chained yanked. I am tired of a game that is no fun. I gave it 7 months. This is not Star Wars. I would rather play Dark Forces 50 times, then spend another minute in SWG.

Excellent job. I've already quit. Maybe when SOE notices the major decline in DE's, they'll do something. Or maybe they won't, maybe they'll just let the profession die out completely and have pets be the astromechs for the spacecraft in the space expansion. SOE is really going to take a hit when World of Warcraft comes out or the later games of this year.

OT: Wow nobody 1-starring this post? I guess that's when you know that SOE has REALLY pissed off the community as a whole. Not on "fine get the hell out" or "stop complaining". Truly remarkable! /props all around

It's a sign of the times. Two weeks ago, anyone saying anything against the devs got the ole one star. Now it's just the opposite. Go figure.

Didn't know you, but nevertheless I wish ya well in whatever you're going to pursue next. It's sad to see a fellow droid engineer leave, that's one less voice of ours to be heard. Despite the sluggish progress this game is making (albeit none at all in our profession, go figure), it is progress nonetheless.

....unfortunately, I fear it's too little, too late, for far too many.

There are plenty of other games in test at the moment. I have had 3 invites in the last 3 months, MMORPG players are going to have a lot of choice in the future so devs had better get their act together if they want to keep players.
