Thread: armor, buy now??

i am hoping that someone can help me out with some info on whats going to happen when nge goes live. do i buy new armor now? is it all going to be one class (assualt)? i am a bh and recon is what i wear now, is there still going to be hinderence if i wear another type? any other info you can share would be great. thnx obelisk weltman

and we would know anything more then you why? check the NGE forums.

Honestly, I'd say buy now. Go ahead and get a suit of each kind of armor. Profession certifications for the different types are still around, but I don't think hindrances are. Don't quote me on that, though. Armor seems to be about the same on TC as it is in live.

I checked the NGE boards and found this, which might be helpful.
Armor - Type
Bounty Hunter - Assault
Smuggler - Recon
Commando - Assualt
Officer - Battle
Spy - Battle
Medic - Recon
Entertainer - None
Jedi - None
Trader - None
As you see you have to wear an Assault armor incase you are a Bounty Hunter and you lower your hindrance the higher lvl you become (most likely
).
