Thread: Armorsmiths are the new Weaponsmiths?
As a weaponsmith, I suppose my best repeat business will be grenades.

Weaponsmiths have been hurt twice as bad as us armorsmiths with the NGE - disregarding the stats of weapons, ws'es now have a grand total of one line of experimentation..
Coupled with the no decay issue, both professions are as dead cold as frozen stone.
Funny, crafting used to be so complicated. I read a thread in the discussion forums and some kid was talking about the fact that this was bound to happen because crafting was too complicated and most people could never get into it....
All I have to say to that.... PLAY A DIFFERENT PROFESSION!!!!
People like this are why we have the NGE. People that say the game was too complicated.... they just need to play a different game imo.
Im fairly certain that we've not seen the armour changes on test centre yet...has anyone crafted any high level armour yet?
I fear there will be a test centre server soon and armour will be converted a lot...mainly due to the fact that I believe there is no energy/kinetic damage any more.

Totaly agree with this,the crafting in this game was verry good imo i never liked it couse of the hard work with the resources etc,but still these changes are just stupid,
i played for 2 years and now i was about to finaly test crafting and to work with stats etc even tho i know it was a pain(heard people said it
) but guess that wont happen after this change......
i always admired those crafter that did all the HARD work gathering resources/components to build stuff for us(the fighters) + making REALY good cash on it to...
basicly this is why i never chosed crafter, i chosed combat and i agree with this post...

I hafta agree 100%. I look at it like this, not everyone can be a Nuclear Physcist and not everyone can be a Professional Athlete...so the diverse profession system allowed everyone a niche'. Now its all gone to suit the ignorant or those that didnt want to put in the time to understand the crafting system.
