I know this has been said before, but this is not right that no items decay. SWG was so proud to stick out their chest and say they had the best crafting system of any MMORPG....and I agree. Now they are totally dismantling that system by removing decay. Besides crafting a few consumables, crafting is pointless. Armor will only have to be purchased once. Looted weapons are just as good as crafted weapons. Architects already got the shaft a while ago since no structures blow up anymore.
I don't think I would care as much if I didn't spend appoximately 100 million on resources and spent countless days and weeks grinding out Armorsmith. Now I have about 1 million left after all the resource purchases and nothing to show for it. I can't even respec to a combat profession because I am a CL1, which is good for nothing.

I think you can respec actually. I believe they said that you can respec from a crafter depending on how many skillpoints you had used, so if you used all of your skillpoints you should be able to respec to a lvl 80 fighter, or am I totally wrong?

Totally wrong, according to the latest testing I've seen. A master crafter respecs to a master trader or entertainer or a level one combat class. A level 80 toon respecs to a level 80 combat toon or a master trader or entertainer. HOWEVER, if they respec to a master trader and then try to go back to a combat toon, they will be level one. This was reported on TC Corbantis yesterday.

I think a master crafter should be able to respec to any prof in the new upgrade...
...only once mind you. But they should have that option since any master combat could respec to master trader, if they should choose to do so.
