Thread: Focus thread: Armorsmith and the NGE
I am still on holiday and not be online before Nov. 18 earliest, so I will not be able to do any testing before the NGE launches. But I have started to gather some links and info and would appreciate all the info you can post in this thread, positive and negative. My time on the forums will be sporadic the next week.
The Devs said the NGE is launched to make the game more fun, I am beginning to wonder if they know what make this game fun at all.

General FAQ that already have been answered

Issues:
- No decay. This is being pushed by all crafting professions and we are getting a lot of support. Still no reply from the devs, not even the reason for doing it.
- Level 80 non-combat chars should be able to respec to level 80 combat chars
- Hide now drop as loot in random stacks, will make it very difficult to make armor with the current hide requirements
- The game seems to be sliding towards a loot based economy (WoW anyone?) with player crafting being pushed further and further to the side. Is there still a long term goal to have us in the game?
I'd like to add another issue:
5. Could we get some more news from teh Dev's about dungeons and us not getting aggro'd? A Trader accompanying a group thru the DWB with no aggro is silly but so is having to deal with all the aggro with bo combat skills and no ability to wear armour! They've said that this issue will be addressed (specifically the DWB) but as yet I have seen no more answer than that. There needs to be an answer about all dungeons not just the DWB tho.

Well it is quite unfortunate. I have enough hides in my stock to make armor for my guidies and myself, then maybe a few sales. After that I don't know what I'll do. Start making weapons and ammo I guess.

From the focus thread on the Trader Board:
- If we are CL 1 with no agro does that mean we can walk to the bottom of DWB unharmed?

I would assume if CL4 creatures were dropping 5 units we can except CL80 creatures to drop 100+ units each, would be nice if someone could kill some high level creatures on one of the converted servers and let us know.

Those keys are (or at least are at the moment) tradable, so unless they make them no trade this won't be a problem. However the coal bins cannot be looted without spawning something that agros, so I don't see this as being a problem either. Unless of course the coal bin spawns do not agro crafters.
Easy solution: Make the DWB and other dungeons like it that are not already, instanced.
