Thread: sockets, are they random?

Was making some Chitin armor and noticed that some pieces would have sockets and others of the same type would not or varying numbers of them. Like my Chitin Leggings. One had 4 sockets and the other made minutes later with the very same materials had no sockets. Or one helmet had 4 and the other had 3.


So are sockets random in all armor?
