Thread: Best Armour money can buy?
Sliced 80% Comp and an Imp PSG. That'll set you back quite a bit of credits, but, you'll be protected.

That depends on a bunch of things. If you are on Chilistra and have lots of extra creds, then Kemar is the guy to talk to. He is making 85%base stuff now (after a slice of course) and he auctions them on the trade forums. He ispieceing together a 90% base set with stun layers, but who knows how long that will take to come to auction.You could of course try and get him to sell you a set foregoing the auction. If you aren't on Chilistra, you should be able to find an armorsmith on your planets who can make similar stuff.

LoL you are DEF right about that one...maybe you should clarify what you mean by best...highest protection? lowest HAM? Highest protection/ham ratio??
Not to mention those people that want high stun or high kinetic with low ham and I could keep rambling for hours.....

Yeah, I don't like starting conversations with people about what the best armor really is.
I should have a macro set up for that conversation...
Aladine,you seem to be pushing the Kemar issue quiet a bit. I hope he can keep some of the business away from me 
. Though I only know 2 other smiths making 71% base on Chilastra, 70% is awesome.
Well any % is easy to hit if you have the resources
The real key is having the Triisok... Colat Iron as the Amoid is justa bit below and those 42 combine OQ + SR points seem to make all the difference.
But, Chilastra has had a great run the last 6 weeks with some best or great resources for Armorsmiths. I think I was selling the 22% Stun (Only 69% base on those for some reason?) for 500Kcr. But most of it got sliced and I chaneg the price per item based on the type and the %.
I have some 39% Stun, 65% base (might get 66%) segments ready for the making. I was thinking of just helms/chests for those and maybe full suits upon request. I think I will just make these a bit outrageous (for what I charge) as the resources in those represent Chilastra's best (I did lower some ingredients when it didn't affect the outcome).
Obviously high stun, high kinetic seems the most logical choice and coupled with low HAM should make a very nice set of armour. The only decision now is whether or not it should be Comp or RIS. Is there a chioce where that is concerened?I'm not an expert on any of this by a long shot so fire away with a bit more advice, thanks.

I was referring to Chilastra specific resources there. Also, how can I get the quote option to show up on my screens. I thought they were suppose to be in the options section...
