Since prices are getting inflated on everything in this game its time to raise armor prices for me. I could sell some of my resources for huge amounts of money and thats mostly prompting my price increase. I have thought of a simple way to raise prices and keep everything fair for the armor they get.

On my composite I just take 1000 credits x Effectiveness %. So if the effectiveness is 78% on all stats that part would cost 78,000 credits to buy. Encum sliced items would be less to buy. However, I have notice people want effectiveness sliced more than encum. So I figure they will avg out.

What do you smiths think of this easy price guide for armor?

Honestly its just whatever works for you. I use a price per segment guide. Makes it really easy. Composite I usually do 7-10k per segment.

10,000x 4 = 40,000 chestplate

10,000 x 3 = 30,000 Legs and Helm

10,000 x 2 = 20,000 arms, boots

you get the idea.

I calculated my resources times fare markets value. That gives me a base selling price and I mark items up from there.

yeah my prices were similar.. but when the resources I am using go for 50cpu just selling resources its time to raise. And the fact you have to spend from 200k-400k for 1 crate of food on my server times are tough. Everything is going through the roof. A t21 that takes 600 resources sells for 75-100k. its crazy but if you undersale you lose cause you have to buy stuff thats high too.

Personally, I dont' care about easy price calculations. I use a spreadsheet and base my prices on the amount of resources (minerals, hides, bones, etc.)it takes to make and the final stats of an item (resists and encumbrance). Your 78% item would probably go for 15-20 k. I am not here to get rich in no time, just want to make a profit so I can keep going. But feel free to charge whatever you feel like
