Thread: super noob question
Bio Engineers, I think tissue 2 is needed for the A level pack, 3 for the B level.
Do not rush to use a vitality pack the first time a pet gets DB'd. The Vitality packs return a pet to 1% below their max level, so if you have a pet that drops to 94/100, a pack will return it to 99/99. A second death and a pack will return it from say 92/99 to 98/98. The same pack would have taken the pet from 92/100 to 99/99, so you drop 1% and spend twice as much using a pack each time.
Check the number of levels a pack can restore and do not use it much before that level; I think a B pack restores up to 15 levels, an A pack 8 or 10. (someone please correct me on this if you know more accurate numbers than this.) With a B pack you can allow a pet to get as low as 84/100 and restore it to 99/99, where if you used a pack each time you would have had 4 or 5 steps at least and the pet would have been at 94/94 at the same point. Using the vitality packs only when the pet reaches the level at which the pack's maximum effectiveness will return it to 1% below the current maximum is the best way to maintain a good pet for a longer time.
Pets' stats will remain the same until they are at 75/75, so you can keep a good pet for quite a while if you use the packs when they will do their best.
