Functional, better than standard RIS, and only 5 uses per schematic.

Yeah its better than standard RIS, adds a 3rd layer, and requires a geo cube. So with the cube you can either add to resists more, lower enc, or add durability.

Quick question, do I still need Peko feathers, GDK, Woolimander Bones, etc.Or can I use NS shards, layers and green geo cubes..?

you still need the feathers. hides, scales etc

I really would almost consider it a waste making a RIS segment schematic. For the cost of the Gurk Hide, Woolamander Bone Fragment, Geo Cube, and any NS layers, NS Shards, or Janta Hide that you would lose in the schematic, you could easily buy another 5 use RIS schem.

I could see it possibly being good for stun layered RIS, as you can easily mass produce layers with the same serial number, but then you are still losing the loot items which generally aren't cheap. If you were doing triple NS layer RIS making a schem would be a complete waste if you just had one layer set. Still kind of a waste using 3 layer sets.

As the critter loots needed do not have serials, you can factory the interwoven segs. It would be then based on the number of sequental cubes, layers or enhancements you used.

Can a schematic be made from it?

sure, but you'd have to have same serial numbered shards, NS layers, NS shards, geo cubes

I've been crafting armor for a while, and understand how this works. But I haven't gotten my hands on an Interwoven RIS schematic yet. Considering the obvious advantages of using one, I'm going to hold my GDK scales until then. It would be nice to only need one though. They seem to drop about as often as GDKs.

So my question...Can a full suit of RIS be made using 1 Interwoven RIS drop (not one use of it, but several segments per use)?

Do you have theoretical numbers? I know I've looted sets of 5-6 cubes. Not sure of the limits on janta hide or NS layers/shards. Be nice to be able to make 3-6 segments with one use of the interwoven schematic.

SO far I have used 1 use of my Acklay RIS Schem, made 6 Segments with it, had a set of 7 yellow cubes, 7 NS Layers, and 7 NS Shards, I plan on doing the same thing with the other 4 uses, which will give me 30 Enhanced RIS Segments!
