How many layers can each piece of armor have? How many total?

Each piece can have 3 layers. But instead of using RIS layers, nightsister layers are better because they give negative encum, as opposed to 0/0/0

A regular RIS segment has 2 layer slots, Interwoven RIS segments have 3 slots. There are nine peices in a full suit.

RIS layers can be good, but NS layers are better, use them.
