As anyoen whose read one of my posts is sure to know, my GF is a master armorsmith on Lowca and she's been going through the learning process- one thing she wanted me to post and ask about (but I was lazy) is this:

On our server, someone was selling 80% Kinetic padded (Not sure about base resists, they were pretty high though, past 60%)- Almost all of her materials are over 900 in OQ/SR, except hides (blame me)

However, highest she can get padded is 60%, though, as my other posts will show, she's inexperienced.

you may be able to get higher by using rancor segments

I have made 67% kinetic and that wasn't with rancor segments. I didn't even have that good of materials. I just had some good hide. So 80% seems plausible

I make 74% kinetic padded (46% base)without using any enhancements, so I would say it is just a matter of having good resources and using them wisely

Thanks everyone, when I get home from work I'll show her this info.

You guys are great, usually don't get this kind of help in most of the other craft forums I've posted in for her lol

If there is anyone on Scylla that can actually pull off padded this high or near this high I would love to find you and buy a set. I hate ubese. And comp is overpriced if you plan to hunt in it. SO to all you armor gurus on scylla if you can do this please drop me a message on the forums and I will get in touch in game

And sometimes you get lucky and make 77% kinetic/49% base padded (new personal record :smileyvery-happy

I'm on Lowca - made 80% padded with no enhancements/ special segments.

We've had excellent resources lately. I can give you a rundown of what i've used if you wish sometime. There is still plenty out there to be bought.

off the top of my head... syte, Moosrost, iocati... not sure what else - but it's all 950-999

Here is a "woot" (with screenshots) on a few pieces of 80% padded I made on Naritus using really good acklay segments. It IS possible, but I imagine those segments are quite quite rare...congrats to ilove on his loot
