once you egt master, chances are (unless you guiild will support you) that you won't be able to make armor worth 450k a suit. Just cause you're master dosen't mean you can make 80/70 comp. I would sujest you check other ArmorSmith's sets, compare them to yours, then price accordingly.

Also, jsut so you know, pricing everything at 50k wouldn't be fair to you or your customers, imo, since there's more resources in a chestplate than a pair of gloves.

I recently picked up armorsmith. I was wondering if I would be able to get a list of resources which I need and the quality I should be looking for. I know I need kiirium steel with a high combination of S.R. and OQ. Was hoping the community could help me out with my grind by giving me a more full list of what I should be looking for resource and quality wise.

Hi! Welcome to the world of Armorsmithing, glad to have ya!

So you're looking at making Composite Amor? Well here's a quick rundown on what you're going to need for it.

The resources you need will change slightly depending on what type of layers you want to put into your armor. Lets say you're going to be doing Kinetic Composite; you'll need these resources for the Kinetic Layers:

Metal

Polymer

Amorphous Gemstone

From this point you'll need another set of resources for the Composite Segments. Advanced Segments are the most common, for these you'll need:

Colat Iron

Kiirium Steel

Polysteel Copper

Now for the final combine, you'll need a few more resources. Each of these is used in each piece of the suit.

Intrusive Ore

Known Solid Petrochem

Naboo Fiberplast

Aluminum

Beryllius Copper

Wooly Hide

Thats the basic stuff you need. Now when you look for quality resources you need to focus on the Overall Quality and Shock Resistance. For a general rule of thumb when I go looking for resources I look for anything with OQ+SR > 1600 I've found that anything along those lines comes out with fairly good results.

Welcome, it's a bit quieter than some of the other profession boards but the guys and gals we have here know their stuff very well. If you have any questions (remember to check the stickies first) don't hesitate to ask..
