Thread: Problem with layers...

Is anyone else having this problem?...


I tried to craft a few energy layers and although assembly went fine, the stats on the layer are not updating at all through experimentation.

Bug, and if the indication of the length of time to fix the Factory Colour Bug it might around for alittle while longer.


Workaround it by making a factory run to find out the Final stats of you layers. Some people say Alt-Tabbing works for them, never worked for me.

So the actual stats are there and will appear at factory run?


If so I can live with that

Yep it's there, might want to post differently if it isn't. Just test it with a 1 item schematic first before creating 1000 layers or else it might just be wasting resources. Better to be safe than sorry.

dont create a 1 use schem.


create a 1000use schem and make sure you have one resource with only the required amount in it,


the other resources maye in the full stack,


if the first layer will get the real stat (and it will) just add the other resource in the ingridient hopper to


and finish the run

Figuring out stats on layers is actually very simple:
For kinetic/energy layers, the main (positive) stat is equal to you experimentation rating, and the negative stat is experimentation rating +1 - eg. at 96% experimentation the energy layer will have 96 energy and -97 kinetic
For primus layers, main stat is equal to half of experimentation rating, while negative stat is half of experimentation rating +1 eg. 96% experimentation primus layer makes 48 energy/kinetic and -49 specials.
