And how is this accomplished? i had heard of 6200 energy but have yetto see any

To get the max energy you would need to use 4x energy layers in the cores.

And you probably haven't seen any because most players who are really serious about energy protection find some way to get a recon armor cert into their template. Eenrgy-layered assault just doesn't measure up in terms of protection or value.

Thank you for the information. and the reason i want the assult is i want to hunt jedi in the new bh armor. but im mbh/mc/pistols which doesnt allow for much recon

Yeah... I'm an MAS on Gorath and cannot possibly see how the cap can be gained with the resources we've had.
My accomplishements on energy layers:
Recon 8099 - Battle ~ 7000+ (can't remember) - and Assault 5855
Any wizards out there able to tell me if I'm using the wrong resources?

Many of the more established smiths on your server should be able to make 6000+ energy assault. No whether they want to is a question only for them. You might post in your trade forum asking for some names and then e-mail those smiths about a custom suit.

They are using resources I won't touch for layers..
