I Just bought a piece of pre cu looted BH armour cheastplateon the forums that can be made into mando armour...
What Res will my local AS need to craft this at its best?

It involves a trip to the Death Watch Bunker. Check the DWB guide in the stickies.

I think the armorsmith just uses regular cores inside of the armor and i believe the base is made with the quest items you have to get
but then again i could be very wrong

There is an 'involved' step in the DWB that you should read up on as Pyke suggested. Once you have the schematic for the MandAlorian chest, your local AS will useit and be able to make the piece with the same resist profile as any other assault armor. The condition will be a little more than double usual. The ingredients for the final combine on MandAlorian pieces are identical to their corresponding composite pieces.

1. BH Piece
2. Binary Liquid
3. Protective Layer Coating
4. Alum Mineral
2 and 3 can only be looted inside DWB.
4 is a mission reward for the miner's quest in the DWB.

Any *looted* BH piece, pre or post CU can be used to make Mandalorian. Crafted BH armor (made from looted schematics) cannot be used. Stuff that was looted pre-CU has been turned into 'crafted' BH armor, but has an option on the radial menu for conversion to the item needed in Mandalorian crafting.

BH part is the first out of a long road to the first piece.... espect to spend near 100mil if your lucky to be abble to buy the components.... Liquids.... or spend 2 months doing raids on a daily basis with a group of 8 down in the DWB
my suit in sig was a year long project what started when the bunker came live, spended over 500mil to get all the components and looted a lot of course...
and loot prices of the liquids did go skyrise now because people cant stand it that I have one and they dont.... on Eclipse a liquid goes for 50mil credits these days

that is a pretty set of armor. congrats on getting everything for it, i would say ot was worth every penny.
